Baghdad Approach

Divided into 3 different TMA's, Baghdad Approach provides approach services below FL235 throughout the whole of the Baghdad FIR.

Baghdad Approach ensures surveillance-based separation to aircraft departing, arriving, or transiting the Ali, Baghdad, or Kirkuk TMA sectors. This section of the SOP outlines ensures a safe and efficient flow when operating a Baghdad Approach position.
